Andrew Zimmern took to the skies with FlyNYON

Our friend and Travel Channel’s Bizarre Foods Host Andrew Zimmern recently decided to see what all of the FlyNYON fuss was about.

Andrew took his family on an epic, open door helicopter ride over his hometown of New York City. They flew past many infamous landmarks, like the Empire State Building, Central Park, the Chrysler Building and Times Square. Andrew even snapped an amazing shot of Columbus Circle, see below:

Towards the end of the flight they were treated to a stunning colorful sunset behind the Statue of Liberty!

He loved his experience so much he wants to come back and fly with us again next time he’s in NYC! After the flight, he even found some crazy critters at the hangar to munch on for a post-flight snack.
