Q: How long have you been on Instagram?
A: A little more than a year.

A: I’d like to study the business/art of photography, preferably in New York or California.
Q: How many times have you been up in a helicopter?
A: Too many!

Q: How Do You Edit?
A: Lightroom
Q: What do you do for a living/ what do you want to do for a living?
A: The jobs I’ve been getting for my photography have been picking up lately, and it has really opened my eyes to the opportunity to work hard and become a full-time photographer once I graduate high school.
Q: What are you shooting with when you go up?
A: Canon 6D and 17-40mm.
Q: What’s your favorite building to look at from the air?
A: In NYC, the Chrysler building and Empire State Building. In Miami, the blue and green diamond, as well as the southeast financial building.

Q: How has your life changed since Instagram?
A: Wow, so much has changed. I used to manage a skateboarding company when I was 13 and having developed my skills in videography and photography to what I do now is amazing to me. Instagram’s amazing way of connecting people to a community has helped me meet people from around the world and I’m thankful for that.
Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 years and how is that different from where you are now?
A: I see myself traveling the world and photographing everything through my unique perspective. I just turned 17 but hopefully by then I’ll have everything figured out and moving.
Thanks for sitting down with us Matias!
